Subject Media was started in 2008 by Darren Streibig and Reco Owens and is Based out of St. Louis, Missouri. We started out being interested in photography of all sorts. Eventually, we started working with aspiring models and found much success despite having little experience working with people and photography. We found that we had stumbles upon what would later become out key philosophy to successful photography. Our key feature is the ability to divide our photo sessions into two aspects. The first, maintaining a professional environment for the people we photograph. The second being able to introduce fun into each session. This combination provides a rich and engaging experience between the photographer and subject that leaves the customer satisfied. These ideas mixed professional techniques and business goals of being able to reach as many people as possible by increasing flexibility and reducing cost for the customer has brought great success for our company and left our clients not only surprised but happy that they had chosen Subject Media.
Not long after we started photography, we acquired our first go grade HD video camera. In addition to doing photography we had a vision of being able to apply what we knew in photography to videography. And soon, found more success in the projects that we did. Now, after over-coming the obstacles of new horizons and unexplored regions of photography and video, we are very confident that close to any project can be completed.
